  Pulled over by Darien PD while traveling with a group of 6-7 cars. I was in the fast lane with cars on my right and cars behind me. My Passport S55 Radar detector never went off. Cop was on the shoulder with a hand held laser gun firing across 3 lanes at an extreme angle due to heavy traffic. There is no way in hell the Darien PD clocked me at 85 mpg on his best day. His laser would have needed to go thru 2 cars between him and my car and my radar/laser detector never went off. When I told Darien PD that my radar detector never went off he stated that he uses laser? Maybe someone should inform the Darien PD that laser is not invisible to radar detectors. My passport detects laser just fine but I wasn't going to argue with the Darien PD on the side of the road. The next day while traveling north thru Darien and I encountered the same laser speed trap and my detector went off just fine. I have worked with many Government agencies for over a decade (NASA, FBI, Homeland security, NMCI, MITRE, BAE to name a few) and have nothing bad to say about a single Law enforcement or Government officials. I know for a fact that Darien PD did not clock my car because my detector never went off and his laser would have clocked the cars to my right. I was driving a sports car so I was singled out and given a bogus speeding ticket. I intend to get an attorney and fight this bogus ticket.

  I was on the phone with my son who was traveling through that area enroute to Jacksonville FL, when he was stopped by the Darien Police department. They automatically drew their firearms on my son because he was speeding, which I think everyone would agree is very excessive for someone speeding. They tried to say that son attempted to elude them which is totally false. My son clearly said to me that some car is approaching me acting crazy, I am getting out of their way, and just as he pulled over to let what he assumed was a crazed driver, the car turned their police lights on. Thank God I was on the phone listening through the whole ordeal, and my phone automatically records all calls, and I can clearly hear everything that my son, and the officers said. Once heard in court, I am pretty sure my son will be exonerated, at least of an eluding chargeA, he admitted that he was speeding.

  Today Me and my family were headed back to Florida after Irma and stopped to a gas station to use the bathroom etc. When I came out of the store this angry guy pulled up and I walk slow due to a back injury so I don't know if I was walking to slow or what but he yelled at me and I yelled back well I didn't know which way you were going he got so angry he tried to hit me he was literally 1 inch away from stricking me bt the time he sped off I hit his back window with my hand somy 5 children and their father saw the whole thing they were So angry and yelling at the guy by this time I decide to call the cops what a waste of time I called they didn't care I could tell from the I told them that the whole thing they watch the video they told me that they saw the video and they saw him try to hit me and it was nothing they can do

  Exactly the same thing happened to me as Sunny Sole posted on here. Bunch of liars! I was riding behind traffic when I was pulled over. I'd like to know how I was the one speeding? But they saw I was out of state.
